Abdallah's Story

My name is Abdallah, I am a Palestinian living in Jordan. My family is one of the leading families in a refugee camps in Amman. My father is one of the very well know leaders in Palestine cause, and one of the radical leaders in our community. I was raised to hate Jews and Christian for they have taken my land and I ended up being a refugee.

One day I was surfing my Facebook page, I saw one of my friends writing and attacking someone writing about dreams of Isa Al-Masih. I followed the discussion, I was amazed by what the follower of Isa was saying, and by the proves he shared from the Qur’an and the Hadith. I was discomforted by it, though, and I felt the need to answer him. I spent some time studying to find answers.

Then I saw a dream. In it, I was in a building studying. The building begun to shake and it was going to fall. Suddenly, out of the window, I saw a man in white with brown hair. The sky around him was so bright, and he stretched out His hands and said: “Come to me. I will take care of you.” I stretched my arms toward Him. He pulled me out the window. I felt that I am falling, and yet I was full of peace and comfort, being in His presence. I landed on a green lawn. I have never seen anything like that.

I wanted to ask Him “Who are You?” I felt like I have known Him for a long time, and that He does not need any introduction. I felt peace, joy, happiness, hope and love in His presence. I wanted to stay with Him all the time, and did not want to go away.

Finally, I gathered my courage and asked Him: “Who are you?” He answered: “I am the Way, Truth, and Life”. I understood right away that He was Isa Al-Masih. “I want to know more about you.” I said, and He gave me a book. I looked at it, and saw that it was the Injil. He asked me to read it.

I believe in Isa Al-Masih, and I am still in a journey to know Him more. Keep me in your prayers, I can’t share my new faith with anyone here, because I may lose my life. I am thankful for your website that opened my eyes and pushed me to study and know more.
