Did you have a dream?

Theories have been invented by sceptics, suggesting why the prophecy of Daniyal was not a miracle of Divine Providence after all. They say: “One kingdom falls and is replaced by another. You don’t have to be very smart to figure that out.” That may be true. But that is not what Allah showed to king Nebuchadnezzar and nabi Daniyal. The fourth, iron kingdom, is not replaced by another one. Instead, the feet of the statue are made of iron mixed with clay. This is a new concept and a completely new type of material. There is a lot to be said about the feet of the statue, but for now, let us simply say that after Rome, there was not going to be another unifying super-power, and that a new type of power was to come out of Rome, different from all the ones that preceded it.
Great powers have risen and fallen since Roman times. Think about the Mongol empire, the Ottomans, Napoleonic France or the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler, to name just a few. They rose, they conquered, they made other powers tremble… but Allah revealed to the ancient king of Babylon that none of these powers will prevail over its rivals, and history attests to the truthfulness of His word.
A book entitled A Thousand Shall Fall by Susi Hasel Mundy tells the story of a German soldier in WWII, who trusted without hesitation in the prophecy of nabi Daniyal and also its implications. By revealing his belief, and predicting the fall of Hitler’s empire, he risked his own execution, because he was accused of undermining the German soldiers’ morale. As it turned out, through his trust and by standing up for the truth found in the Word of the Almighty, he saved his own life, and the lives of his comrades. Read the book to get the rest of this truly amazing story of divine power and protection amid the unparalleled human tragedy of WWII.
Yunus 10:64b
لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
No change can there be in the Words of Allah, this is indeed the supreme success.
Injil, 2 Peter 1:19
We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Daniyal saw the stone that was cut “by no human hand”, hit the feet of the statue and filled the whole Earth. This represents the return of Isa Al-Masih (may His peace be upon us) and the establishment of an Eternal Kingdom of peace and harmony, the promised Jannah (paradise).
History testifies to the revelation made by Daniyal to King Nebuchadnezzar. This gives us hope and certainty regarding the plans of Allah and the fulfillment of the last part of the prophecy. The victory of Allah comes with the return of Isa Al-Masih (may His peace be upon us). After the enemies of Allah and of Isa are defeated by Him, there will be no more wars, death and destruction. It will no longer be the most merciless and bloodthirsty despots who conquer and rule. Instead, those who submitted to Al-Muizz (the Bestower) will be put in charge in His Eternal Kingdom.
Injil, Matthew 5:5
Gentle people have a baraka, because they will inherit the land.
We learn important lessons from this dream:
The importance of worshiping Allah, and not idols.
Allah is the One who reveals the true meaning of dreams, and He uses people as His chosen mediators.
Allah is in control of the World and of history.
Allah speaks to us through dreams.
Allah showed to king Nebuchadnezzar an image of a statue which depicted the ruling kingdoms from the time of Babylon until the coming of the Yawm Al-Din, the end of the World as we know it, the resurrection of the dead (qiyamat, for which this day is also often called the Yawm Al-Qiyamat) and the final defeat of evil. This remarkable prophecy foretold the future of this world up until the end of time. And anyone familiar with the history of the Middle East confirms that it was and is ACCURATE.
Praise be to Allah, the most merciful, the most compassionate.
